Anton
In 1928, the three impressive buildings on Strijp-S known as the Hoge Rug rose at a tremendous pace: Anton, Gerard and the Apparatus Factory. Building Anton served as a factory building in the Philips era, but was transformed in 2013 by housing corporation Trudo into a special place to live, work and shop.
The building houses 130 lofts of 50m² and 80m². The ground floor of the building is set up as commercial space. Here you will find, among other things, the Urban Shopper: a small shopping centre that houses 20 creative, start-up entrepreneurs. The design for Anton’s transformation comes from diederendirrix architecture & urbanism.
