In 1928, the three impressive buildings on Strijp-S known as the Hoge Rug rose at a tremendous pace: Anton, Gerard and the Apparatenfabriek. The Apparatenfabriek – formerly better known as building SK – was built as the first radio equipment factory. The first Phillips radios were produced here and, after World War II, television sets. Housing corporation Trudo transformed the building in 2013 into a business centre with more than 100 workspaces in different sizes and rental prices.
