Anyone expecting Biergarten to be all about beer is wrong. The new ‘city garden’ on Ketelhuisplein should become a place where people of all shapes and sizes feel at home. It’s a central spot at Strijp-S where you will soon get together with your group of friends.

Festival vibe with a Berlin twist. A laidback drinking spot with sun and music, that’s what the Rotterdam of ten years ago needed. Inside, there is room for 400 guests on two floors. Outside, we have a spacious terrace with an outdoor bar. Every Friday and Saturday, our resident DJs spin. Later in the evening, we push the tables and chairs aside to make room for the dance floor. And the great thing about Biergarten is: everyone is welcome. Our toilets are gender-neutral and even with a large group, you can always knock on our door. How is Biergarten different from other bars at Strijp-S? By not focusing on beer or food. Our philosophy is to bring people together. A meeting place where beer and food play a secondary role.
