Turkish bookstore with more than just books.

Looking for a Turkish book, a Dutch, English, or Turkish language course, or even cat training? Ekin Kitabevi Bookstore offers it all and has been open in the Urban Shopper since March. “Will you come and take a look soon?” asks owner Melis. A year and a half ago, Melis and her daughter swapped the Turkish capital Ankara for Eindhoven. “I wanted to offer my daughter a brighter future, especially in terms of education. So, I looked for a city that could provide us with this. After a lot of Googling, I discovered that Eindhoven scores high on livability and safety. So, I made the decision, and we moved to Eindhoven,” Melis explains.
