he Rock City Institute offers an intermediate performing artists vocational training for anyone who wants to work in the music industry. The Rock City Institute has a pop / rock stream, but there is certainly room for singer / songwriters too. The specially selected teams of teachers are a reflection of this approach.

The three-year level 4 training educates young people to become skilled musicians and independent entrepreneurs in pop music. The practical education is characterised by central band education, project work and entrepreneurship. The course has five specialisations:

– Bass guitar
– Guitar
– Keyboards
– Vocals

RCI is accommodated in PopEi in Strijp-S. This location with several rehearsal rooms, a stage and a studio is a real-life setting amid (inter)national music venues like Effenaar, Dynamo, PopEi and Altstadt.
